Send confirmation email for preorders
Using STOQ, you can send confirmation emails for every preorder product purchase. These emails confirm the transaction details and provide essential information such as payment and shipping data, enhancing customer communication and satisfaction.
Confirmation emails can be either setup to sent automatically on placing an order or send manually for more than one order from the "Reports -> Preorder" section.
Within the STOQ app, go to "Preorders -> Notifications".
Turn on 'Send preorder confirmation email' to automatically send the customer an email on a preorder purchase.

On the same page listed above, click on 'Customize email'.
You will have options to modify several elements of the email. Find a list of elements available below.
As you make changes, you can preview it on the right of the screen to see how your email will appear to customers in real time.
Save your changes once done to update the template.
The preorder confirmation email supports multi-language feature. To make changes, click on 'Languages' on the page and send customers an email in their preferred language.

Note: Currently, the test email feature is not available for preorder emails. To review the preorder confirmation, please place a test preorder order.
In case you forgot to enable the preorder confirmation email setting or want to send a confirmation email to customers, you can do it in two ways.
Go to "Reports -> Preorders" with in the STOQ app
To send preorder confirmation emails in bulk, select the orders you want and click on "Send confirmation".
To send preorder confirmation individually, select the order number to navigate to the individual preorder product page and click on "Send confirmation".
If the email is sent successfully, a toast is displayed at the bottom of the screen saying "Confirmation email sent".
If the email sending fails, a toast is displayed at the bottom of the screen saying "Confirmation email failed". In this case, you can wait a few minutes and try again.

Heading | The main headline within the email. |
Description | The body text or message to your customers. |
Footer | The bottom part of the email, containing the button to cancel orders. |
Button appearance | The look of the 'View order' button. |
Background | The color and text of the email's background. |
