Collect single or bulk final preorder payments in Stoq
Stoq now supports collecting preorder payments within the app. You can also collect payments in bulk instead of manually collecting remaining payment for every preorder in Shopify.
Whenever a payment collection is successful, customer receives an email from Shopify about the order charge and the order is marked as paid under 'Shopify Admin -> Orders'.
Warning: Do not use the "Capture Payment" button found on Shopify's order list. This button will not attempt a charge to the card and instead mark the order as paid.
Navigate to Reports -> Preorder
Click the checkboxes next to the preorders that you'd like to collect payment for.
Click on ' Collect Payments' button on the right side of the table header to begin the process.

Stoq will attempt to charge the remaining balance for all selected pre-orders. You will receive an email with a status report once the process is complete.

Once the payments are successfully collected, you can also see the orders marked as paid in the report section.
For bulk payment collection, status report emails are sent 5 minutes after clicking the "Collect Payment" button.
Navigate to Reports -> Preorder
Click on the ' Order ID' of the preorder you'd like to collect payment for.

Click on ' Collect Payment' button to collect remaining payment for this order.

Stoq will attempt to charge the remaining balance for the preorder. Wait for the page to update its status.

If the payment collection is successful, you'll see a success message and the order status changes to 'Paid'.

If the payment collection is unsuccessful, you'll see the reason why it failed. You can get help with the preorder by clicking 'Contact customer support'.
